Bed bugs

Bed bugs are a parasitic insect that feed on warm blooded animals including humans. They often live in and around the bed and feed at night when you are sleeping.

The main signs of an infestation are the red marks on skin from their bites and blackish spots on bed linen from their droppings. Bed bugs can make their way into homes by being transported on clothes and luggage from other infested areas. This means anybody is susceptible to an infestation and it is not a reflection on personal hygiene standards.
